HELLEBORES – MIXED MEDIA PAINTING Workshop

This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate level enthusiasts.

These delightful late Winter / early Spring flowers are the focus for this first workshop of 2025.

The freshly picked Hellebores are a stunning array of burgundy, pink, white and lime coloured blooms mixed together with their bold, waxy green leaves .

Using watercolour, water-soluble pencils and graphite you will have the opportunity to paint these charming flowers, recording their clusters of smooth, silky petals, patterned centres, textured leaves and elegant stems. Displayed in a clear vase you learn to capture the transparencies of the glass and water levels by using colour tints and applying light and dark tones.

Demonstrations & individual guidance from a qualified and experienced tutor are given throughout this workshop to support you with your artwork.
