Pip Cottage – Traditional round willow basket

Using traditional techniques to make a small stake and strand basket with or without handles of wood or willow that can be used for eggs, bread, pegs, foraging, as a waste basket, a child’s basket, a planter…..A great introduction to the traditional basket making that was practiced in Mawdesley and across England.

All materials, use of tools, step by step demonstrations and help given where wanted so everyone goes home with a finished product. Brews and biscuits provided. On full day workshops please can people bring a packed lunch or buy from the café.
